Belotero Balance Dermal filler is a hyaluronic-acid (HA) approved by the FDA to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as vertical lip lines or nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth). Dr. Ryan E. Dodde, II may recommend Belotero Balance to patients from the Holland, Grand Rapids, Muskegon or surrounding areas.

What is Belotero?

Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid (HA) injectable filler that completely integrates into the skin tissue.  By adapting to the individuality of your skin, it softens lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth for smooth and natural results that are uniquely you.

Am I a good candidate for Belotero?

If you are looking to correct wrinkles and fine lines, enhance facial contours or rehydrate your skin, you are a great candidate for Belotero Balance.  Belotero Balance should not be used in patients with a history of or presence of multiple or severe allergies, including those with a history of anaphylaxis.  Use of Belotero Balance at the site of skin sores, pimples, rashes, hives, cysts, or infection should be postponed until healing is complete.

What can I expect from Belotero?

Belotero Balance creates an elegant finishing touch to your injectable treatment regimen, filling small gaps beneath your skin’s surface and improving the appearance of moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles. Results can be seen immediately.

How long is the recovery?

Patients may have an injection site reaction. These reactions can include inflammation, swelling, bruising, and redness that usually last less than seven days.  For approximately 24 hours after treatment, avoid strenuous activity, extensive sun or heat exposure, aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), and alcoholic beverages.  Exposure to any of these can cause temporary redness, swelling and/or itching at the injection site.
