A MicroPeel is a light chemical peel that gently rejuvenates only the outer layer of skin. This can give you a fresher and more youthful appearance. It is stronger than regular skincare products but less abrasive than other in-office treatments.
What happens during a MicroPeel?
A MicroPeel session begins with gently cleansing the skin to remove the surface oil and dead skin layer. A mild solution of alpha-hydroxy acid is then applied to remove the dead skin cells and other cellular debris. After it’s applied and left to optimize, the solution is gently washed off and neutralized.
This procedure is safe, generally comfortable, and only takes about thirty minutes to complete.

Micropeel Results and Recovery
Most patients will notice a change in their skin right away. Side effects are very minimal, with some patients reporting mild redness and sensitivity. Fine lines and brown spots can be diminished, and a change in skin texture can be felt right away. Your skin may have a smoother and more uniform appearance.
Results from a MicroPeel can last several weeks, and you can apply your makeup immediately following the procedure. Because the process is so gentle, many patients choose to have follow-up peels to optimize and maintain their results.
